Sydney being one of the most sprawling cities in the world, there are two seasons of Rasa Unmasked to choose from for Sydneysiders.
The performance premieres in Western Sydney at the beautiful, new Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre on Saturday, March 7th. This will be the big opening of the tour so be sure to get down there and also visit the best new arts centre in Western Sydney. You can buy tickets on the Casula Powerhouse website.
Then we bump out and head east, into Sydney’s CBD. On Wednesday 11th March, the three artistic doyens of the collaboration, Anandavalli, Ramli Ibrahim and Alex Dea, will join one an arts and classics academic at the NSW Art Gallery’s ‘Art After Hours‘ on Rasa Unmasked, India, the Asia Pacific, the classical arts… and no doubt much more! Join in on the discussion, from 7pm onwards.
The Australian leg concludes at the country’s most recognised performing Arts Venue – the Opera House. On Friday March 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th Rasa Unmasked will play in the intimate Studio space. It will be a welcome return after Lingalayam’s sold out season there for the Asian music and dance festival. Tickets are available on the Opera House website.
